My MSN messenger automatically updated my Messenger Plus! but ever since my smileys (default and custom) dont work! i only see the characters ':)' instead of the yellow faces...

Why is that??? its actually driving me crazy after being so used to them.
WHAT SHOULD I DO???

i uninstalled and installed messenger live AND Messenger Plus all over again... and still no change! Even the smileys and icons on display names do not appear.

Please help as it is REALLY frustrating!!

Try this:

Tools>Options>And tick Show Emoticons and Custom Emoticons.
