A problem Iva had for a lon time now. Ive tried unidnstalling and re-installing messenger about 9999999999999999999999999 times now and it still doesnt owrk

The problem I have is that Hyperlinks dont work. That is someone types a url as a clickable link and it wont open when I clcik on it! No error box, just absolutely nothing happens!!!!! The browser doesnt open or anything!

Do you have "Allow links in the conversation window" checked (Tools > Options >Security)?

If yes to that: did you uninstall IE?

I had uninstalled IE7 so it reverts to IE6 yet Firefox is my default browser anwyay. It has worked with Firefox in the past though.

Any moreideas?

No I havent.

Have you installed any anti virus programs? Ad-Checkers ect? Any ad-ons to Windows Live Messenger? Try making IE6 your default browser and see it if works?

Nvm I got it to work now! It was something I shoud have tried a long time ago. I set IE as the default browser Which worked and then set back to Firefox and now it works!
