hey all,

i installed the latest version of msgplus over the previous one, and now the normal wlm sounds are played twice, not in a row, but at the same time with a slight 1ms delay.

it did that before too and i solved the problem by simply unchecking the box for the sound alert when received a new message in wlm's options -> alerts and sounds.

But of course if msgplus didn't play the integrated wlm sounds it would be best so we don't have to fiddle around in the options.

you running any scripts or other add-ons that could be causing this?

does disabling all alert sounds in WLM fix it?

what version of windows live messenger are you using?

its a new wlm i had been using version 7 before all this time on an old p3, now its a new puter.

i went to the sound's folder to listen to it,

C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger\type.wma

the sound is like that, doh!

well i guess never mind then, lol
