Hey everyone...was wondering if you could help me.

At first I sign in and everything is fine, but then it disconnects me. It connects itself again, then half my contacts are gone. I sign out, sign back in and everything goes back to normal....but then it disconnects, doing the same thing again in a matter of moments, so conversations are not really possible.

I'm using Messenger Plus 4.23.0.276, WLM 8.1, and Windows XP.

Try updating to the newest versions of WLM (8.5.1302.1018) and Plus (4.50.312)

If this doesn't work then try deleting the folder in C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Contacts\[e-mail-address]

you may need to set it to "View Hidden Files & Folders" first

This will force WLM to re-download your contact list from the servers
