O.P. [Suggestion] Update the statuses in WLM9
Hey
I notice that when you have Windows Live Messenger 9 and MP!L 4.80, the old statuses such as Out To Lunch, Be Right Back, etc. are still there. Id think its a bit more professional to make Plus! detect if you are running WLM9 and just display Busy, Away, Online and Appear Offline.

RE: [Suggestion] Update the statuses in WLM9
These statuses can still be understood by contacts running WLM 8.5 however.
For instance i often use /brb in a conversation to set myself quickly to away.....however for contacts using 8.5 it will still show correctly that my status is set to be right back.
Until a forced upgrade of 8.5 occurs I think the statuses are going to be left in place

Yes but I mean it should autodetect if you are running 9.0 or 8.5. If you are running 8.5, these statuses should be left. If you are running 9.0, then statuses should be removed.

Moh, they are there in the personalised status window and in the commands, etc
riahc4, you're missing the point. people running WLM 2009 can still appear as 'brb' or 'out to lunch', for people using WLM 8.5
So when i use /brb on 2009, people on 8.5 still see me as 'be right back', while people on 2009 (including myself) just see 'away'.
These statuses should be left in place for BOTH 8.5 and 2009 until 8.5 no longer exists, as until that time, the statuses are still detectable

I understand you.
But it is stupid having a updated client that can still send old statuses to old clients but is not defined in the the updated client's GUI.
