I'm in the brainstorming phase of a new script that will assist moving contacts from one MSN account to another. In order to be able to do what I have in mind, I need the ability to add and remove contacts from the WLM contact list.
I can see that there is no way in the current scripting documentation to do this, but do see an existing script by deAd that does add contacts by way of an ActiveX control. Searching the forums gives a few warnings about the use of this control though (1, 2).

Can deAd's method be used accurately, and is there any function call that allows deletion of a user from the contact list?

You want something to be able to send protocol messages really so you can do it at quite a low level.
