my messenger (windows live messenger 8.5) changes my display name by itself

for example i change my name to: [c=30],.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸-(_B¿Ãz|ìÑG|_)-,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸[/c=12]

after i press ok the name changes to somethin like this:
[c=30],.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸-(_B¿Ãz|ìÑG|_)-,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸[/c=12]

please help

That's because there are some unsupported letters in there. take a look closely, and ever set of &xxxx; is equal to one character.

but it worked before i reinstalled windows

and allready got the same fonts on my pc now

and the names are normal for a few seconds or sometimes for a few minutes but then they change again...

could it be a problem with my os? maybe anything is deleted by a virus or somethin like this?

btw thx for  ur help

Try disabling roaming option of Mesenger from Messenger menu>Tools>Options>General>Use the same display picutre and personal message everywhere I sign in.
