So, I just downloaded the live messenger onto my lap top. It wont let me sign it...it says errors have occured (key ports). I checked firewall settings and all of that. The oldest version of msn works fine though. I have no problems signing in. If anyone has any ideas as to why I can use the old msn but not the newest live messenger, I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks lots....
At first...if you have AVG AntiVirus you must disable msn protection in WebShield...Make sure that you have installed Sign-Up Asisstant and I recommend to install Windows Live Messenger 8.5 Final version,because 9 or other betas crash a lot..I hope these helped..
