Hey all. My girlfriend is having some issues with windows live messenger. I myself am pretty good with computers but cant seem to figure this one out. She can connect and everything just fine to msn. She can even use the drawing feature of it. Yet she cant type and send actual messages.

Any ideas on this?

Do you have the little update for WLM? (i think it was called Microsoft Journal Viewer") IIRC without this, drawing is disabled.

Are the chat area and input text box greyed out/disabled? Also, can she type fine in other applications, for example Notepad?

yeah she can type fine else where, its just msn. Im not sure if its greyed out or not, i havnt asked her that.
