Has anyone managed to successfully add a picture behind the contact list in WLM 9/14?

I can add one above or below the contact list, but the problem is that there is literally one line of difference between the position of the code (in the 1001 def file)

I believe that (if it's possible) it will involve editing the 1002 def file, however I'm yet to figure out exactly how 1002 works, it's a VERY different system from 8.5 as far as I can tell

Just wondered if anyone had cracked it as it can be quite an integral part of skins and is one of many obstacles i've come up against thus far in skinning 9/14

You have to edit the 1001 def file. It is at the end of the file.

Exemple of what I have done for my Skin:

If you don't want to use Skin conditions just add "background=rcbkd("msgr",59***)", where 59*** is a new picture defined in your definitions  file.

absolutely brilliant!!

works like a charm.  I was hoping beyond hope that it was the 1001 and not the 1002.

All that remains now is to investigate removing what looks like a bit of padding at the very bottom of it!

I'm also having a problem with the conversation window in that i can't get a picture to sit ontop of the bottom display picture.  it seems like there's some kind of padding around it......but i can't for the life of me find it!

I've already moved the little dropdown button out of the way (incase that was interfering)......but there's still a sizeable gap between the bottom of my image and the top of the display picture

Can you show a screen capture? I'm not sur to understand your problem

As a skinner, I would be nervous if I wanted to have it touching the DP box.

As a user, I wouldn't even know that the image is supposed to touch the box and I wouldn't mind for that since I would be using the skin for the girls mostly. It is just a detail that doesn't do any harm. I would say you leave it as it is.

it looks stupid with them cut off and floating though...the images don't finish, so they need to be flush with the display pic

otherwise i'd have to go and find whole new pictures and re-do parts of the code for the 8.5 integration.

basically i wanna fix it, not ignore it
