right i saw a bit on the opening pages of Messenger Plus when you first set it up where you can have your own video thing as your msn avatar/display picture but i dont know how to do it...can someone help please (:?

Um, not entirely sure what you mean.

Plus! doesn't add any features to display pictures.

With WLM 2009, you can open up the Display Picture changer, then there's several options: A 'Webcam picture', a 'Dynamic Picture', you can also upload your own animated .gif file.

There's also links to MeeGo, WeeMee, Quebles and Kiwee for more animated display pictures.

yeah thats what im on about cuz ive got my own gif file that i want to use...but i dont know where to go to access this option...

just search for the file in the same way as you'd add any other file as a display picture

Is the picture definitely an animated gif?

If you double click it in Windows Explorer does it open and show it as moving?

Can you upload it to the forum?

WOOO! sorted it now...
i had to save and export for web and devices...i was just saving it as a gif so it was only saving one of the layers (:
