Start scanning boot sectors:
Boot sector 'C:\'
    [INFO]      No virus was found!
Boot sector 'D:\'
    [INFO]      No virus was found!

Starting to scan the registry.
The registry was scanned ( '44' files ).

Starting the file scan:

Begin scan in 'C:\'
C:\hiberfil.sys
[WARNING]   The file could not be opened!
C:\pagefile.sys
[WARNING]   The file could not be opened!
C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\9624e17743376897f2506035449da5ba\BIT58AD.tmp
    [0] Archive type: CAB (Microsoft)
    --> nv3dCSY.chm
[WARNING]   No further files can be extracted from this archive. The archive will be closed

Begin scan in 'D:\'

End of the scan: Friday, March 20, 2009  18:05
Used time: 22:59 Minute(s)

The scan has been done completely.

  13894 Scanning directories
211764 Files were scanned
0 viruses and/or unwanted programs were found
0 Files were classified as suspicious:
      0 files were deleted
      0 files were repaired
0 files were moved to quarantine
      0 files were renamed
      2 Files cannot be scanned
211762 Files not concerned

      8 Warnings
      0 Notes

Got any solutions? I can't run this scan in Administrator mode, as it is activated in Avira.
The words highlighted in Bold is the one I want to know about.

Try restarting in safe mode and scanning then.  None of them are anything to worry about, just things which couldn't be accessed.

Those HD3, 4, 5, etc things are most likely card readers or something.....which obvioulsly can't be scanned unless there are cards in them

The first bit of my reply was about them.......the hibernation file and page file are things that won't be able to be accessed while the machine is running in normal mode.....your best bet is to try booting into safe mode and scanning from there....although the same thing might happen.

Basically it's nothing to worry about

C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download\9624e17743376897f2506035449da5ba\BIT58AD.tmp relates to to a Windows Update file. Not sure why it didn't finish scanning it, but it's safe to say it's safe :p
