O.P. Huh?  INTER-CHANGING OF GROUPS LIST/ONLINE-OFFLINE
in the original WLM, at the right hand side of the screen, u could choose to alternate between viewing [offline/online] contacts and [groups].

in the latest version, im stuck at the groups look.

how do i switch it back as and when?

Tools -> Options -> Layout

Organize Contacts by: "Online status" or "Categories"
