RE: Microsoft Security Essentials knows many things.
Thankfully it's only 4.11, newer versions are clean. At least, the installer is clean, I wonder what the realtime scanner does when you install CiD. Only got to test with the Ask sponsor so far.

Their signature files seem to be pretty Microsoft centric...
* AntiWPA is detected as a medium threat: Potentially unwanted behavior.
* MessenPass is detected as a medium threat too. This is a tool for revealing stored Messenger Passwords, but none of the over 30 other password revealers for other applications were detected as a threat.
Overall Security Essentials seems pretty good tho. Small, very simple interface, good detection rate with very little false positives (based on OneCare tests, it's using the same signatures), and best of all free. I would recommend it to friends and family, but still using NOD32 myself.
