I reformatted my computer the other day. Installed Windows Live Messenger and Messenger Plus! today.
When I discovered that the Messenger Plus option to allow more than one messenger client to run didn't work, I stupidly downloaded the A-patch. Well, that worked, but then MsgPlus didn't. It still will not.
I have searched out, uninstalled, and deleted all files that I can find pertaining to WLM and MsgPlus and installed clean copies. I tried using the Repair feature of both programs. I tested to see if the patch was there, and it isn't. I can only run one client. But MsgPlus still won't work. When I got up to the bar, it only says "Software not loaded" and "About Messenger Plus!"
Under Software Not Loaded, it says:
An error occurred which prevented Messenger Plus! Live from loading properly. You can try reinstalling the software or waiting for an update to be available.
