Helppp... ive done something stupid!!
i deleted a pic from my computer and i wanted it, i used it as a display pic before so i can see it there but is there anyway to save it??

Using a feature of Messenger Plus! Live you could save the display picture if you added yourself to your own contact list, however it would only save the version stored on the MSN Servers, so a small sized picture, not the full sized original image.

Right click on your display name in the contact list, hover down to 'Messenger Plus! Freatures'> Contact Information> Save this image> Choose the location and enter a name for the image then click Save.
