Hi,

I just installed the "BETA" version os Messenger Plus!

I checked the bug reports and could not find this one.

When contact lists are about to update (User goes online or another comes online) MSN Messenger updates correctly but Messenger Plus seems to have about a 30 second delay before updating.  This is causing problems when starting a new message.

What I mean is this:

My contact list may look like this

User1
User3
User4
User5

Okay now I will put a star next to a user that has just come online

User1
User2*
User3
User4
User5

MSN updates as it happens, Messenger Plus is delaying.  So when I click on User3 to start a chat it actualy opens Users1 Window.   Despite I clicked on User3.  Now it fixes itself after Messenger Plus! catches up and updates the contact list.

Has anyone else experienced this?  If it's not explained well let me know and I will try again.

I have uninstalled Messenger Plus and seen what happens in normal MSN and I don't get the problem.  Only when I installed the beta version of Messenger Plus!

Now I have to be honest with you I can't recall this occouring in previous version of Plus!

Do you have any plugins installed?

Also, I don't realy get the "Messenger Plus! is delaying" as clicking on a name in the contactlist does not much more then opening a convo with that person and Messenger Plus! doesn't interfear with that IIRC. Also how do you see that Messenger Plus! is delaying? I mean there is not much to delay in Messenger Plus! though...

Does it occur with all contacts, or just a single one?

Funny you say Does it occour with all contacts, or just a single one?  It has occoured "twice" with the one contact.  But I don't sit and wait with MSN open to see for people coming online or offline but with the one contact I have noticed it's occouring on two occassions.

Can't say yet I have experimented with the other contacts as I have not been quick to see.

I have not got any other plugins installed except Plus!

I'll keep an eye on this more ... Maybe it's not exactly a bug but a lag thing or something.  Or maybe my PC hates someone!

I mean plugins within Messenger Plus!. eg: StuffPlug-NG, etc. (those are plugins)
