Hey guys,

I was wondering if Messenger Plus (or a plugin for it)

had the ability of changing a persons status and set an automessage or name tag when a certain application loads.

(For example i want my status to change as soon as i join a game so ppl wont bother me).

And if possible even return the status to normal when i close the application.


Is this possible?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I dont think this will be created because alot of people would want alot of applications added to the list. It could be created so that a user could add a process to the list manually and then the plug-in check if that process is running or not, but it would be for advanced users only.

Im not sure, maybe someone will create it but it doesnt have too much purpose.

well it could be easily created to allow users to add their own programs to the list and could come pre-insatlled with a list of common games/programs which the user could remove if they didnt have them

I'm actually thinking about becoming a Messenger Plus developer in some of my spare time, so i'll have a little go at it for you... unless Dempsey's jus put on his coding specticles and got to work already .

na lol im too busy atm ive got about 10 college assignments to finish, about 5 websites to run and about 6 projects im programming, so all in all i have no time

Its actually easy to do...

But, I might not be able to develop it at this time because of exams...

Maybe, after the exams are over....

Wow, would be cool if someone would create the plugin for this.

I figured it shouldnt be that hard to make a list that checks for an application running and then changes the status.

Thing is i cant code (except PASCAL and VB )

You can make plugins in VB if you wish.

- STCU (Swift Status Chaning Util )
- GameAway ( cause it sets you away when ingame)
- Autostat
- Autoa App Stat
