Hey, ive just installed windows codename longhorn, or simply Windows Vista Beta 1! I must say its pretty visually impressive!

I really can't see the point in trying out a new Windows version. It's a beta first off, meaning it's going to be buggy, and that's really BAD as far as your OS is concerned, since the OS controls most, if not all, of the I/O traffic. Meaning you could screw up your disk pretty badly if something goes wrong. To me it's better to wait for final version of operating systems to come out.

i'm happy on XP for now:) i just finished my PC, i'm not going to go install a buggy OS, and screw it up, no matter how stable it is:) its still a beta

I love the look of the new longhor/Vista OS. Although i agree with concord Dawn i would wait for the Actual Os to be Released.
