O.P. Text direction in MSN...
How do you change the text direction in MSN chat windows without it being permanent?
Meaning: Writing like this... does anyone know a trick for this? |

He means that the text is aligned to right instead of left.. I don't know how to achieve that though.

This is a standard Windows key combination for any textbox that supports RTL.
It has got nothing to do with addons such as MessengerDiscovery X, it is basic Windows behaviour.
Normally it would be LEFT CTRL+SHIFT for LTR and RIGHT CTRL+SHIFT for RTL, IIRC (although for some reason it doesn't work here atm)...

note that ctrl+shift also changes the keyboard layout
but only if you have more layouts selected, like for me Dutch and US International

Then it is another key combo to switch between RTL/LTR. I know it is independant of that language selection stuff you can do in Windows and isn't the same as selecting the keyboard codepage...
EDIT: or it shouldn't be the same... (at least that's my experience... I got this working someday, without the keyboard layout changing, but I dunno anymore if I set some option or what not)

With me (XP) Left Ctrl+Shift changes to LTR and Right+Shift changes to RTL, but It also changes my keyboard-layout.
Pretty annoying sometimes, when windows magically changes my keyboard layout and I press Right Ctrl+Shift and it also changes to RTL  |

Mine doesn't seem to work when I press LEFT, CTRL + Shift  ... I sometimes accidentally pressed a combination and then it went from RTL but when you need it, it's not there hahaha. Thanx źnnieway!  |
