RE: Messenger Plus! 3.61 working with WLM 8.0.0562
Hmmm it makes me wonder what they changed now. They probably "reverted" something to how it was done in 7.5. Or it is a coincidence that "old" Plus! is working there.
Now my question is: did Patchou already know of this "changed" build and was developing his beta to be "plugged" on this? Or maybe he now is :#@°!"&'ing to MS because he will have to rewrite parts of his code to make it work with new build?
RE: Messenger Plus! 3.61 working with WLM 8.0.0562
Yeah, i remember reading someone saying this in the Beta newsgroups - i was going to post it but you beat me to it .
It's interesting none the less, does this indeed mean that theres a possibility that the WLM team are using the older engine Patchou? (I'm not sure how that part of Plus works ).

Very possible - that WLM team found that the new engine they had prepared to include in WLM 8(.0.365) was too buggy to fix, and they had to switch back to the old engine and use it in 562 build...
RE: Messenger Plus! 3.61 working with WLM 8.0.0562
Well obviously there has to be benefits in using a newly developed engine - i'm hoping they will have time to remove most of the bugs in the newer engine and roll that out into the next upcoming betas.

thats if they do roll it out into the next beta's.. for all we know iit could come out in 8.1?
RE: Messenger Plus! 3.61 working with WLM 8.0.0562
as it says in the post, a lot of things aren't working eventhough they might have changed the engine. We'll soon know if Patchou already knew about this and thus could work with it for the beta of MPL!4 or that the beta will be postponed.
