The screenshot explains it all really. But basically it only saves part of my conversation, then when I close the coversation and that person then talks to me 5 minutes later, it creates a new log for that chat, even though I didnt sign out at any point.

IIRC, the latest Messenger Discovery Live is usually why this happens... Do you have it installed

Also while I'm here just a quick question. I've got Vista Home Premium and when I had tabbed chats enabled, that all went messed up too, like it would have 2, 3 or maybe even 4 conversations with the same person, with only one of them being the actual conversation. Whats the problem there?

Ah right, so is it just Messenger Discovery Live itself, or would downgrading work?

I think an older version of MDL would work, but I as I don't know if you're on WLM 8.5 or 9.0 I can't be sure...

The slightly older build (1.5.0725) should hopefully work fine with 8.5 and if it is compatible with 9.0 you are covered from that angle too

i have the same thing since i have install discovery, it's mka a new log each time i closed windows chat
