I've tried everything.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled Windows Live for days.  I've tried 8.1, 8.5, and 2009.  I'm currently using 2009.  I've been trying to install the very newest Plus and it says that it's installed successfully.  But when I log into to Windows Live, the Plus isn't there.  I have Windows Vista if that has anything to do with it.  But it's really getting me mad because everyone on my contact list has tons of tags in their name.  Can someone please help me?

Ihave this problem too...i dont have smileyIM or anything related to that...ive tried all the options on the stickies AND red through all the threads posted in the help forum but it still doesnt work...nothing seems to help! Ive even uninstalled my Live Messenger to see if that worked but nothing!

Edit...

- i had uninstalled all...
- restarted my computer...
- installed windows live 2009 again...
- installed messenger plus live
- found and moved the kiwee directory to a different place...
- installed messenger plus again

now its working

You all dont have ANY other add-ons?

Sorry, i found the problem on my computer... there was a kiwee directory (used by explorer.exe) in my program folder... i unlocked it with the unlocker program and moved it to a different place... then i again installed the messenger plus and now its working!

It seems that the kiwee has been used by my yahoo messenger

Would kiwee interfere with messenger plus? Because i have it but im not sure what to do to resolve the issue...id have to be given instructions lol ^^;

It would seem that kiwee does interfere with Messenger Plus Live.  and directions were given above

if you not can move the directory, just unlock it... for this you need a unlocker tool... just search for it in google
