Hello, i'm absolutely stumped, I have no idea what is going on.
Recently I've been getting the MSN message recieved sound and having no message windows pop up, which I thought was odd, and it had been doing it a lot so I uninstalled it, but I'm still hearing these! I also get the occasional error sound though no popup windows are coming up.
This is a brand new computer, could I have someone on my system?
hmm.... is there something wrong with your sound driver? or it could be a software problem... try recovering your computer if you haven't saved anything new on there.
O.P. RE: msn sounds playing even after uninstallation
I'll back up and save my recent documents, I doubt this is a soundcard error, how could the sound play if it's not on my computer? I wasn't using the internet at that time, though I was connected.
