I installed this Plus! program but I don't see any changes or additional features to my Windows Live? I want to use things such as the Event viewer and logging but can't find it at all.

Can Plus! detect if contacts have logged in despite if they so do in offline mode?

Are you using Windows Live Messenger 2011?

Messenger Plus! 4.9 is not yet fully compatible with Windows Live Messenger 2011. The next version, Plus! 5, is currently in preparation and will be released soon(ish).

No, rather not. I suggest you to keep it installed — this way, after Plus! 5 is released, you will get an automatic upgrade notification...
