Use the version of Windows Live Messenger 2009

My problem is that the nicknames of my contacts are displayed color codes but never shows the colors, someone help me; s

I'm afraid I no longer use Windows Live Messenger 2009 nor the Plus! version that works with it. I vaguely remember that there is an option in the Plus! Preferences menu where you have the option to Enable or Disable certain tags like bb and html. For the [c] tags you will probably need to enable bb. Have you checked this?

Unless someone has a better solution, you may just want to try to reinstall both.

And the option Arcticwolfx is talking about is "Use formatting attributes ...", under Customize! > Messenger Customization in Plus!' Preferences and Options, enable it if it is disabled.

Ah, thanks, I couldn't find the download on Microsoft's own site!

And regarding BB code, I'm probably imagining an even older version of Plus!
