i am using windows live messenger version  2009 and having couple of problems.

1: All the contacts show always offline  . i  don't see them online as i have  not been using live messenger for some time.

2: i  blocked and deleted a contact by mistake . i then re added that contact in messenger but it just remains offline although its shown in contact list  . i can not see that contact when i go to  :


tools > options> privacy > view contact  list .

Does it mean that contact is blocking me ?

Hopefully some body could tell me about the above matters.

This is not reliable any longer. Nor is the Messenger Plus! contact list cleanup feature.

If you log into a web messenger, such as http://meebo.com, are all of the contacts offline as well?

is meebo  safe for signing into messenger? never used it .

i do use  "Miranda" also besides windows live messenger .

there contacts are always offline  also.
