Hooray!   

I just finised my first plugin.  Can people test it out on older pc's, cos i could it test it on XP Home. 

It lets you quickly and easily send screenshots to your contacts, either full screen or the active window.

The commands are

/xssfull           -      captures the full screen

/xssactive      -      captures the active window in 2 seconds

/xssabout      -      about Screenshot Sender

if you want you can specify the time delay after /xssfull and /xssactive, but it's not required.

UPDATE - This is now v1.5 of the plugin and you can specify the time delayafter each command if you want, but if you don't, then the screenshot is taken instantly.

If have also made an installer now, to make it even easier to use.

It doesnt work

It doesn't work on my computer ( Windows 98 )

I found 1 problem.. but still it doesn't work..

regsvr32 "c:\program files\Messenger Plus!\Plugins\ss.dll"

change it to

regsvr32 "c:\Program Files\Messenger Plus! 2\Plugins\ss.dll"



It still doesn't work.. but that's at least 1 problem you should change, The commands doesn't work.. I hope you fix it.. it should be hendy


A suggestion is to add the commands in the readme.txt and change the registername of the plugin to ScreenShotSaver.ss or smth

Not everyone has got Plus! installed in the same directory, but it would be nice to set it as default, because most people do have it in that directory

Yeah your right, it could be anything and everywere .. hehe.. but by default it's Messenger Plus! 2 and if it's changed it should keep away a lot questions

It works now... very very very nice dude.... thats brilliant

i'm not sure why it doesn't work for everyone.  I could only test it on two XP machines. 

I might make an installer for it, to make it easier

Any ideas for the next version anyone?

Anyone got it working on anything other than XP?

idea: full screenshot with time limit
idea: set your own time untill it makes the screenie
idea: let it make and send the screenie when you press a certain button (if possible, I think it isn't)
idea: when the screenie is made, let a box pop up "the screenie has been made and is now being sent" then I don't have to look if the IM window is flashing blue

btw nice plugin I'm really happy with it... now if you follow my ideas... it'll be perfect
