In windows messenger 5, under winxp sp1, i only have a Plus! menu in the chat window, not in the main window.
i used my shortcut and then i noticed that the plus! menu was there. i thought it wasn't there before so maybe someone else should try this?
IRC commands and the log seems to function perfectly.
i havent tried any of the other functions with keyboard commands cuz i dont use them and havent customized them.

It worked that much on the beta releases of MSN 5... I'm sure there will API documentation, drop on MSN patchou, ill do some research and drop you a line if i find anything

no it doesn't it is incompatable, some command work, nto many.

maybe we should wait one or two weeks before they can update all the websites.... or wait the coming of windows messenger 5 to have an api

no it probablty does hav a API but microsoft haven't released it!! That how i understood it of WinBeta And Mess.be and IEXBeta

Rhee question is then... WILL they release it? is so... WHEN???

BTW... Patchou?? How many feautures will we be missing whitout those API's?
I mean... Plus! 1.42b is already partialy working with MSN5, some other things will work with just a little tweaking.
And i'm very sure that some things that you already had created in MP2 are also working, and even some more with a little tweaking.

Now, if you combine the 1.42b and MP2 things that already work.... how many do you have... OR how many stays behind that definitly won't work?

I think that it won't be THAT much features that would work whitout MSN5 API.... and ofcorse everything will continue to work on Windows Messenger (4.x).

In the meanwhile, peope, keep the API information / tips / workarounds / everything coming! There should be some way to get it fully work on MSN5
Maybe Microsoft releases the MSN5 API in the next few days, if not... does somebody knows a workarround?

Well, Messenger Plus! 1.4 was still compatible with Messenger 3.6 so it didn't use any part of the API. For several reasons, MP2 uses the Messenger API heavily. No API, no update. I'm working on it right now.
