i was just looking around the forum in search of my very first post (my 500th is coming up ), nad i couldn't find it. the first post listed for me was in feb 2, 2003, but i jouind on jan 31, and posted a bug report, which i can nolonger find . any of the mods no where it went?

There have been over 145000 posts posted here, so keeping all of them would make a very large database, and decrease speed/efficiency. I often delete old threads, and try to keep the post total around 50000.
It makes sense that your post counter should go down when those threads are deleted, but people always at me when their post counters go down, so I stopped them from being decreased during pruning.
