this plug in kicks ass, ive always been waiting for a plugin for WMP, cuz i dont really like using winamp, and now there is a plugin out! thanks a billion

the plugin does not word on my pc, i have windows 98, and msn plus  and msn 6.1(official version) and my version of windows media player is 7.01.00.3055.
can the creator talk dutch, if yes can he send me a dutch email with how i must get it working thnx in advance

Media player 7 doesnt support plugins, get version 9

Already sent him an email before he edited his post. Anyways, as far as I know WMP 7 does support plugins (it says so in the docs, 6 didn't), but I don't know how compatible it is... best is to upgrade to 9 anyways, as there have been many improvements in speed as well...

i cant upgrade to version 9, because i have windows 98(NOT the second edition)
and the normal 98 does not support version 9 of the media player only version 7.1.

I get a "(no song currently playing)" message, and i AM playing something...

If you get "no song playing", make sure the plugin is enabled. Look under the Tools menu, there should be something like "Plugins" or "Extensions" (I have a Dutch WMP so I can't really tell)... make sure "Messenger Plus WMP Plugin" is selected... a green icon should appear in the bottom right...

i get that to, and another thing about  media player not running, but where must i enable the plugin then( i'm dutch) can u please tell that?

In Dutch: Extra -> Invoegtoepassingen -> Messenger Plus! WMP Plugin (which made me realise my previous statement about Tools was probably incorrect ). However, the "Media player not running" might also be caused by a pre-check I do on the WMP window... I don't know if WMP 7 has another classname, if anybody knows it please let me know

i have 7+ and i cant see the invoegtoepassingen in my Exta menu.
