Nothing's official yet, but a friend of mine was interested in this nickname project. We've discussed it a bit, and the best way would be for WMPlus to have an extra interface which applications can use to query it for media information. This enables his application to watch for changes and automatically update your nickname. Once this is working and stable I'll write some documentation so anyone is able to use the WMPlus "engine"...


Best of both worlds, I don't have to spend my time on features I don't like, and you get a nickname changer

Is there anyway that WMPlus will be able to detect the auto rating on WMP and transfer that into the little thumbs because all my songs use the media player 9 auto rating thing thanks alot

Hmmz... I dont actually get how auto-rating thing works... why does WMP9 rate one file 4, and another one -- 2??

There are 2 types of rating in WMP9, manual and auto. The auto rating system works on the number of times u play a song i think, if u quickly switch to the next song its gets a low rating etc.
