Fukafly, they look good, only one problem: you've used single-color transparency. Most obvious ones are the play/pause/stop buttons. They look good on a white background, but with black you can see it aliasing clearly... I know, you shouldn't use a black background
, but since MSN can do full alpha PNGs (while IE still can't, grmbl) it would be nice to use it and look great no matter what the settings are...
That aside, my plan is to install the images to My Documents\WMPlus Icons\ by default (I don't think it would be wise to tell newbies to look in Program Files\Messenger Plus! 2\Plugins\WMPlus\), though it should be customizable of course, and turned off if you don't want it. Along with that I will mention it on the website.
I'm also thinking about having a way to load predefined "packages", which contain information on the commands/tag and optional custom emoticons used. These can then be made available for download and installed from WMPlus easily. I mean, if some Visual Basic guy can make an application to add custom emoticons using SendKeys and
charge for it, I sure as hell can make one much more reliable, free and integrated into WMPlus
. It will be as easy as downloading "Fukafly's Amazing WMPlus Output.wmp", I could even link the files to an install application so you can press Open in IE and not worry about anything else...
