Attached is some source code which can notify if a user
opened or closed a conversation window.

The only code which is mine is in frmMain

The rest is not mine and is from here

A bright user would have worked out you can use this to be notified when a user recieves a message. I was going to make a dll for this function, but nah, im too lazy.

How is it supposed to work? does it work with polygamy patch? I click on both buttons and it says true, but I can't see anything at the text box. Also, if I execute it from VB, it crashes when I close it.

think it works like a packet sniffer, right Hah? Scans/recieves notifications and when it recieves one that is an open/close note it will display a msgbox. Yeh mine didnt work at first but test it by clicking on your own list and opening convos. Im not sure why it crashes though, did you close it using the vb Stop ot the X on the project/program?

with the X, of course. It gets freezes a couple of seconds and the all VB crashes.

it shouldn't display anything if you open a convo to other contact. anyway, doing that still nothing

Exactly right, it works exactly like a packet sniffer. It crashes in the vb ide due to unstable subclassing.

I'm talking with hah on messenger and I've solved my problem. I'll help him with the program to do a nice interface .

Btw, the problem was with several network interfaces (or (as in my case) with a vpn (virtual private network)). That problem will be fixed.
