Lately I've been seeing a lot of Dead threads being resurrected....which is wrong I say that once they reach like 3rd of 4th page, they should be closed....let them R.I.P.

that makes no sense. A thread may have 6, 7, 8, or more pages and still be ontopic and be interesting.

threads should be closed when noone have replied in <insert a suitable number here> days. Maybe 7 or 10 days.

No, that's not what I mean, I mean 3rd or 4th page of the FORUM listings...you know, where the threads ar elisted, I don't mean how many pages the thread itself has

It's pointless !!  What happens if an old thread becomes relavent again!

We point newbies at old threads for pre discussed topics !  If they wanna reply for another answer we gotta let them

nah, sometimes u need to ask something related to the topic and is better to post in that 'old threead' than creating a new one.

i use to close an old thread when people post spammy comments on them
