Everytime i log on to messenger, one contact is always blocked everytime i sign in, i inblock them and then when i sign in the next day they're blocked again

its the same on my sisters account as she has the same contact,

so is it something he has done like a patch or something?

Sounds like a problem on your computer. Or on the Microsoft side.

is always the same contact? is only one or are several contacts blocked? is/are the same contact/s in your account than in your sister's? is that contact a bot? Have you tried to uninstall and reinstall messenger again?

of course, either it is white or it is black the problem is either on his computer or on the server of M$. It isn't on mine and I don't think it's on the M$ side, because i don't have that problem.

ok yes its always the same contact that is blocked and its the same one on my sisters account, mmm its not a bot its a friend and i was thinking he mighta installed a patch or something??? i dunno coz i havent

he can't block himself in your accounts from his computer. if he installed something in you computer, then maybe... else, i see it unprobable

weird....i have a friend that had the same problem, i'll ask him if he could do something with it

i have the same problem since sometime now on 1 contact only..

Anyone have found a solution ?

It's not something new due to an upgrade or something.. I got used to unblock the contact each time i connect but it's getting annoying..

Please post a link or something.. Can't find anything about that else then question on forums..

I've seen post about this on some trillian forum so it seems to be server-side.. But i'm sure someone found a solution for that..

things i did
--------------

1- No msn+ loaded
2- re-install msn+
3- re-install msn
4- re-downloaded msn, msn+, re-did 1,2,3

Each test:

1- start msn+
2- stat msn
3- connect.
4- each time the contact was still blocked..  Unblock
5- exit msn, kill msn+
6- 1,2,3, delete contect
7- same as 6 when i go in 'My block list' contact is block displaying email instead of nick, remove
8- same as 7, add contact
9- same problem

Also did some try from my work place but same problem..
