Hi there all. I've been having a couple of problems since  recently installed MSN Plus again. I think it's a compatability issue, but I wanted to make sure.

So, I'm in a conversation with anyone. Let's say I send them a link to a website. I type it in, hit enter, but instead of showing up as:

http://www.msgplus.net

The "clickable" part becomes misaligned from the text, so I might get something like this:

http://www.msgplus.net   

This also happens when I've sent a file, or received a file, and Messenger throws up the link to the file on my computer. Another problem linked a bit with this is that, when I send a file, the "Cancel" option also becomes misaligned, and the actual file icon that normally appears doesn't show.

My other problem is that when I'm in a conversation, the window suddenly scrolls up a bit, unexpectedly. It does it all of the time, and while it doesn't corrupt or damage anything, it's very annoying, and I believe the Messenger Plus is causing this too.

I've tried uninstalling Messenger Plus, and these problems went away, so I'm pretty convinced that Plus is doing it.

I'm on Windows XP, running MSN Messenger 6.1 (the latest), and I'm also running Plus 2.54 (latest as well). I've got no plug-ins installed...and I think that's it. (Edit: This also happens on my other computer, which has the same MSN and Plus, but runs Windows 98.)

Anybody have an answer for a FOX in distress?

yes, it is plus!, and it is a known bug... although very hard to reproduce and thus to fix... But IIRC Patchou has taken some procautions in the next release of Plus! to prevent this beheviour...

I confirm, this bug is detcted by Plus!3 and automatically fixed.
