Anyhoo.

I enabled name change notifications in MSN Plus... and when someone changes their name, it goes:

__(New name)__ has changed their name to __(Old Name)__

when it should be the other way around...

Just notifying you...

or something similar, so you can't change %s with %s....

Anyway, Kareeser, tell us what language are you using in plus and if that happens always and with all of your contacts.

in fact %s aren't variables, just "replacers". the variables are in the source code and the 1st one is replaced by the 1st %s and the 2nd variable with the 2nd %s... this is how C works

I noticed a similar problem...
I'm using MSN version 6.1.0203 with msn plus version 2.54.74, in french...
I sometimes get:
(Newname) has changed his nick to (Newname)

But sometimes it works fine...
