Hey!

I would like to be able to automatically save all displayh pictures going through msn. Anyone know of any plugin or something that can do this?

I want this because a friend of mine flashed her tits the other day, and switched picture before I got to save it

Anyway, it would be nice to have something that automatically saved all display pictures, even nicer to save webcam streams

I know of  "CE/DP Stealer 2.0" but it  seems to not find very many pictures..

it should work... if it doesn't find more pics, then there isn't any more (and you wouldn't be able to get them with any other program).

Anyway,  you can look at the folder c:\documments and settings\<user name>\application data\microsoft\msn messenger\<number>\ In that folder there are other ones (i don't remember their names) and there there are *.tmp files that are the *.png images of the DPs and custom emoticons, both yours and from your contacts.

correction...

"c:\documments and settings\<user name>\application data\microsoft\msn messenger\<number>\usertile" only holds your own display pictures, not of your contacts...

The display pictures (and custom emoticons) of your contacts are automaticly and always saved in your "temporary internet files". The pictures are saved as C<number>.bin and are actually PNG images... So if you clear the cache of internet explorer, those DP's are also deleted...
If programs like CE/DP stealer can't find them, then they aren't there (anymore), like Choli said...

Like Choli and I said... if the DP's aren't there (anymore) then there is no program that can display/catch/steal them...

but they were there once (maybe when 6.0 was released), weren't they? I thought that...

nope, as far as I can tell, they were never there (the ones from your contacts)

You can, but not through MSN. I used to do it, but I got rid of the program. I dont remember what its called but its on one of Q&A thingy's on www.mess.be

I'm real busy (which is why mess aint a link) but when I can , I'll find out for ya. As for DP's, get the girl to show her tits again

Edit: Ok, all sorted now, check out CamStudio and get ready to record webcam sessions! you can even watch it back through a media player
