Hi all.  Not so much of a bug as a sad loss .  Having upgraded to Mess 6.2, I can no longer use a sound command coupled with an emoticon.  for example:

/sright  

used to produce the sound 'riiiight' but with only a '' emote on the line rather than the text 'Right.....'

With 6.2 now installed, the sound still works, but the line is blank... the emotes no longer display.  I kinda got attached to putting a sound to a face, was wondering if there's any simple code that can be fixed to bring back that functionality.  No biggy, but much appreciated if it can be done.

Try re-installing Plus! 2.54.75

If i remember correctly this is one of the things thats not fixed yet in the plus modded for messenger 6.2

My advice: wait a few weeks an get plus!3 . . . all will work again as it used to an more

This is a known bug, caused by the new way MSN Messenger 6.2 handles emoticons that are typed in - I'm sure you'll have noticed that the code for the emoticons will be replaced instantly

If I recall correctly, this should be fixed in Messenger Plus! 3, which is due in a week or two

:many: to Patchou. The creator of light......welll, you get the idea. But it kinda is wierd why MSN would do that to Messenger. If they wanted to discourage people like Patchou from building add-ons, they could have a long time ago. So why did they decide to change the emotes to code?

coz they're bored and don't have good ideas for updates.....

although  animated CE and DP would be nice
