the games arent all that great it's only chess, pool, and upwords which is kinda like scrabble and they re only for 14 days. i really dont like  6.2 but only because i dont have 6.2 windows x and no resize things

you used the wtbwplug for 6.1, added a large dp and then updated to 6.2. Your lage image is, of course, still there.

i can't even use 6.2..after installing it and signing in just crashes during sign in
so i just stick to 6.1

I don't like 6.2. When you type a message, you can't even copy/paste in from the input field, because that would replace smiles with spaces. Also, like the topic starter said, gets replaced by <) instead. I'd love a feature to turn off that annoying emoticon parsing while typing your messages.
Another thing is that from time to time, Messenger has 2 icons in my system tray, 1 gray square and 1 real icon. They both go to the same contact list when clicked, and I don't have any other Messenger versions installed, so it's really Messenger 6.2 that's causing it.
Also, Messenger seems to hang more often than in the past, and since I installed it, often I can't get my messages through to my contacts.

In all: I'd love to see them make Messenger 6.3 (or 7?) more like 6.1...
