I've done a bit of searching, but I haven't found anything - I'm thinking this could be a bug - When using custom names, only the email address is displayed in the "To:" line in my conversation windows

i.e.

To: joebloggs@hotmail.com

instead of

To: Joe <joebloggs@hotmail.com>

I'd really prefer to be able to see the contact custom name. It also does this for every message

i.e.

joebloggs@hotmail.com says:
hi

instead of

Joe says:
hi

Is there any way to fix this? It's grating on my nerves, and would make my chat logs so much more readable.

Could you tell us a bit about your current MSN/Windows Version? As this would be ALOT more helpfull then what you have posted! Another thing, Does this person have their name as their e-mail account?

Just a suggestion...Have you tried re-installing Messenger Plus! or Msn Messenger?

In Preferences\Contact List\Custom Names, make the check box "gray-checked" (it's the third check state rather than Checked or Blank).
