Hi, im trying to install MSN Messenger 6.2 and after clicking install i get the following message:

"The feature you are trying to use is on a CD ROM or other removable disk that is not available.

Insert the 'MSN Messenger 6.2' disk and click OK"

This box also has a drop down box labeled "Use Feature From:" and a browse button next to it.

I have never seen this message before. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix it?

where did you get the setup file? was it from the official msn messenger site?

yes it was from the official site

I think you have a corrupt version . Download another copy of the program and try that one.

Ummm why would it ask for the disk, if its a net program???

you download it from the net... so there is no disk, insert a print sccreen

looks like you don't have the correct windows installer, you need this to install msn messenger 6.2. What windows version are you using?

ahhhh, that could be it, im only on windows 98. does that mean im gonna hve to use an older version of msn?
