I know I'm being picky about quite a few things now but why am I getting this?

Maybe because you set you nickname to that? Either that; Or a trojan has infected your PC!

Set my nickname to that? I mean the bit where it says about the mail messages, shouldn't it just say 0 or however many you have, instead of a load of random numbers?

Yes, I get the same problem but a slight variation. What is your computer spec? ie Windows etc...

Well, it looks like a real bug (nothing about picky). Install the latest version of Messenger and make sure you set your POP3 preferences correctly (ie, no weird things).

If it still occurs it's a real bug. Btw, this didn't happen to any tester afaik.

I'm running Windows ME, MSN 6.2.0133, and Plus 3.00.92 (yay!).
I haven't typed any POP things into it and it isn't a Hotmail one.

Ok this only says UEY|||Y| when there are no emails. When I received a pop email i got 1 new mail message and it worked ok. Seems if you don't use the pop3 system it still says " ' No New ' email messages" but get messed up on some systems....like mine.

you need to go to your pop3 stuff, and where it says email address, u need to fill in the email address
