A while back I suggested /you, but it was shot down bcz people thought it would be used for evil Well I'm suggesting a smiliar version bcz it's already possible and not very hard....I use things like it often. I keep my nickname as a quick text with "/nick (nickname)" so I can change back quickly after actions.


Without /action, you can just go:

/nick (!N)
/ me stabs himself
for
*(name here) stabs himself


and it works fine


I also use:
/nick The croud
/ me points and laughs!
*The croud points and laughs!



So actually, what I'm suggesting this time is something like:
/action (name)
so if you put:
/action (an airplane) crashes in the ocean
you'd get:
*an airplane crashes in the ocean


Get what I mean?

However having /action there's no need for /you (you could have a quicktext with "/action (!N) (!P)")

The problem is that you won't know who sent the action-message when you take a look at the convo or at the log.

There, I edited it...and you have that problem anyways if you use the /nick (!N) or /nick a cround or something like that anyways....maybe colour-coded actions or something?

btw /action command already exists. it is an exact copy of /me.

Anyways....if Patchou won't implement this, can someone make a plug-in....but it would make it easier if Patchou included it.

Impossible for a plugin todo... A plugin can't alter the way Messenger works or the way Plus interprets it's own codes (use to convert a normal message with Plus! markup into a Action message)
