Msn has been acting strangely after i updated to 6.2 and Plus! 3.0.

Bug number one: See Screenshot, I can't start conversations! I get this stupid error.

And the other bug is that mail thing (Don't know what it's called) you got in the main window.

See Screenshot.. It's just blank!

The first bug is probably due to the hand writting plugin, just disable it in your preferences (plugins section). As for the email problem, it has been fixed, version 3.01 will be released next week.

The first bug is indeed the Handwriting Plugin (and you have the old version btw)... It isn't compatible with Windows 98! See http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=22276

I guess you have the old version because the new version (v1.1) doesn't load when you have Win98 and thus doesn't give you that error... But nevertheless, Handwriting doesn't work on Win98...

Note: I'm tired of hearing about the hand writting plugin problem. In the next version of Plus!, I'm going to do something about it

I don't got the handwitting plugin, and i never got that error in Msn 6.1.
And i know that the handwritting plugin don't work with 98

don't you have it?? mmm... then disable all plugins and restart messenger. If the problem is still there, reinstall messenger.


btw, in the screen shot, i can see that you have an opened conversation with someone. can you open conversations sometimes?

We better be nice, or else Patchou might put a Sasser in the next Plus! release .

I have noticed a few bugs as well. My system is not able to encrypt chat logs anymore, because it is not capable. But it was with Plus! 2.

And also, my handwriting plugin doesn't work.

I am running:

Windows XP SP1
MSN Messenger 6.1.0211
Plus! 3.00

You probably have to reinstall a more recent version of the handwritting plugin . As for encryption, I have not touched it in Plus!3, it should work the same.

I can start conversations but after awhile Msn starts to get fucked up... In the screenshot Iv'e already started a conversations and i was about to start another but i got that error, and it wasn't the first time.
