question is does it work? cuz I can't get it 2, I think this idea is great, just does any1 know if it'll work with my setup

I'm Guessing that I'll need some extra components or somthing, it said XP comes with them, but it didn't directly say XP only, unless I missed somthing

RDM Speech plugin works with plus!3, i'm not sure if it will on Win98..but as i said in another reply to one of ur posts: upgrade to MSN Messenger 6.2 then try again.

now running 6.2 and this plugin still does not work, so either I'm missing the extra components that come with XP, an prolly not win98SE, an am currious if they exsist for my current OS

I'm guessing that you'll need Microsoft Agent installed... you can get it here: http://www.microsoft.com/msagent/downloads/user.asp

It comes with Windows ME and newer, but not 98, apparently. The system requirements are at http://www.microsoft.com/msagent/prodinfo/sysreq.asp.

ya I came accross those the other day, dunno if it worked, it ran the install but gave me no confirmation just was started an done in like 4 seconds. imma reboot now an see if this works

no luck? I'm almost sure it's not actually installing these components on my PC, also I'm testing with a Double MSN just with 2 chat windows, is it possible that it's not working cuz I'm running it on 1 PC? like all other built in sound functions are working just don't understand why this 1 doesn't. havn't sent it 2 any contacts yet, cuz I don't know most of their OS and well if it don't work for me, i don't care if it works for them

Still Can't get this thing 2 work, I have MS Agent 2.0, got it through Windows update an also got off sit ementioned above, also got a TTS Engine off the same page, plugin is installed an running, just not working, what is it I am doing wrong? does any1 have a way 2 contact the maker of this plugin? an btw I resurected this topic cuz it was already exsistant, anyway as usuall heres my (!VER), unpatched MSN, only using the JRNZLoader

It uses SAPI 5.1 - could you try installing it from http://www.webspeakster.com/downloads/sapi51.msi and seeing if it works?

It should install spttseng.dll to Program Files\Common Files\SpeechEngines\Microsoft\TTS.

Downloading it Right now, this thing is Compatible with Win98SE right?

Edit: Nm It worked! I love this Plugin, but add the bit 2 the Readme about how some Windows98 Users may need this thing and MS Agent, but thank u so much it worked, so glad I emailed u
