Ok, so I was one who in the beginning intalled th Sponsor program by mistake. I wanted to get rid of it; I did everything Patchou told us to be done. And I did it. After I restarted Windows, I saw the search bar was gone, but the popups keep emerging!! And my Start page it's the same. So this must be understood that the Sponsor wasn't uninstalled. I reinstall Plus! with the sponsor and uninstalled, restarted Windows, and nothing has changed. The Start page it's the same, and the popups are still coming! I don't know what to do now. I can't take it anymore!!!

Is there some other method?

I hope that anyone of you know how to uninstall the Sponsor totally. You or maybe Patchou himself. Please, I beg you.

try using ad-aware, that should work (or you 100% sure its the sponsor program? i was never aware it produced pop-ups)

Are you sure you followed the instructions as stated in http://shoutbox.menthix.net/showthread.php?tid=21598?

If so, it might not be the Plus! sponsor. What does the homepage change to? What's to be seen in the popups? Can you make a screenshot?

Now, I can't. But I can tell you that it directs me to http://th.msie.cc/index.php?aid=20035 page. It's sort of a search engine. The popups appear almost instantly when I get into another website. For example, When I get into any page to search for "astrology", let's say, another window opens and gives me meny other web directions related to that same term. As in that case, so in many others.

That's not the Plus! sponsor program.

Well, I have the problem with thw start page. See, I put on the start page a web direction (example: www.cantv.net). And I say Ok to that. I turn off the computer. When I start windows, the Internet start page is that one:  http://th.msie.cc/index.php?aid=20035. Not the one I wrote. It happens always: I choose one start page, but when I restart Windows, that direction appears.

I think it has something to do with th GAIN Adserver Software.

defenitely, gain is not the sponsor fo plus. you should try adaware and such tools.
