I noticed that my Messenger became ALLOT more stable once I deleted the MP!2 folder, I did it while I was running MP!3, and when I logged in(MSN was already running), I got no Chat Encryption password window, also wasn't asked for a password 2 Access the Prefference Panel, also NOTHING was viewable in the Prefference Panel, so I'm definitly thinking that since the MP!3 installer doesn't remove the old files their becomes conflict. so I closed MSN completly an restarted it an all was fine, hell I'm not getting Garbled text on the Email line anymore. My MSN isn't be such a whore anymore, so I'm definitly Calling a Bug in the Installer that DOESN'T remove the old Files, witch seemed 2 be the root of allot of my problems. for those that wanna try this, I suggest just renaming the Messenger Plus! 2 Folder 2 somthin Like M P ! 2, and reboot their MSN(close it completly, and reopen)

If the plus!2 folder gets left there may be some files still in use. To check that try delete plus!2 folder whilst running messenger an plus, u will get a warning when a file is still in use...u need to register that dll first ( example: RegSvr32 "c:\program files\messenger plus! 3\plugins\MSSpeechForMSGPlus.dll") if u don't do that and u delete plus!2 folder ur plugins will be screwed! If u follow this procedure over an over: try delete with plus runnin, register dll thats still in use, close messenger/plus completely then log in again, try delete plus!2 folder again, register files that are still in use as i described etc etc. u will see in the end plus!2 folder can be removed withouth any probs

I did it while it was running an got nothing about files still in use, but thanks for pointing that out for any1 else reading this and about 2 try this

Guess the Garbled Text Line never left. ohwell it'll be fixed in the next release, but my MSN is definitly more stable
