If you look at the about about box in Plus! 1.42, the boss shortcut has been replaced by scripting, which means the boss shortcut would have died or been moved - still possible.

The thing that makes me think fake (very impressive fake btw.) is that the spacing between the tabs is wrong, all other pieces of text are centered, but the word "scripting" is not. Also the amount of border on the left and right of all tabs on a row is the same, as the tab set is justified, but the scripting one has bigger spaces (possibly because it used to say Boss Shortuct?)

Finally the words "BETA - DO NOT REDISTRIBUTE" are anti-aliased, whereas windows does not anti-alias text at this size, and never anti-alias's letter like 'T', only drawing packages do.
